Alison wormald was my midiwfe for both of my children and she is awesome. During the end of my last pregnancy she mentioned that they might have to relocate. I drove past were the clinic used to be yesterday and they had shut down. im not pregnant yet but are about to start ttc starting this month, how exciting . I want to use her again but i dont know where she has gone or how to get in contact when the time comes.

Also, we have just moved into pakuranga which is in manukau. Before we lived in st johns. So i delivered at auckland hospital. Could i deliver at auckland hospital even though i live in manukau? im more comfortable birthing there as i know the hospital quite well after having problems during last pregnancy and then ongoing problems with my daughter after her birth.

And another question, can a midiwfe who is based in auckland city birth at hospitals like middlemore or waitakere?

I am meeting with Alison next week, they have moved to 102 Main Highway Ellerslie, think thats correct. Havent actually been there yet, she kept telling me next to Treens cafe.

I have a piece of paper somewhere that tells me what areas and hospitals they do, will have a look for it and re-post. Im pretty sure she doesnt do middlemore though.

I know there are MWs in east auckland (howick/pakuranga) that only birth at Auckland hospital, so if you cant get the MW you want, you still have that option.... dont know their names sorry.
