For crafty stuff there is oriental trading. More kids crafts and party favours but I do miss that shop. You have to call them for an international shipping quote.

Also H & M have great clothes.

Ebay is always a goody and a way to get stuff shipped internationally when other providers don't. There is usually an equivilent item (non clothing) on there.

Don't talk about this exchange rate for me. We have money over there we won't be bringing back anytime soon. Hopefully another few years and we can bring it back. When we left NZ 10 years ago the US dollar was at 40 cents. Now it is 75. If it gets down into the 60's we will be happy as I think the days of 40 cents are long gone.

Lol, I am loving it at the moment with almost $ for $.....not sure if hubby is tho!

I can't believe how cheap some things are, ie this is totally nerdy but I am buying craft stuff and items that cost $10 here are like $3.80 or something....so even with postage saving on the stuff.    I think Australian retailers are gonna have to reduce prices to compete soon.....

Don't get me started. I am like the grinch that stole christmas everytime I go into a shop here and it is three times the price I paid in the US. I think every retailer in the waikato is sick of me moaning about the prices of things. lol.

ie paint. I just bought paint. Daylight robbery. I got a 8 litre and a 4 litre and it was over $220. In the states a gallon (just under 4 litres) is $29 (good paint too) and there is no charge for tinting. My tinting was over $36. I used to have a man come and paint the room and supply paint for $200. Ba hum bug. lol Another example is the roller sleeve for a painting roller I have. In the states they were $3.80 here they are $22.95. They are special roller sleeves that you have to buy for this painting system. Anyway enough of my moaning.
