I just love my DH coz when he's happy he is PERFECT!! He's sexy and kind, and fun and funny he's my bestfriend. We're almost identical in personalities and finish eachothers sentences and say the same things which I love. Even when he drives me nuts I still love him with all my heart

I love my DP because when we found out we were pregnant, he was living overseas (boy was that a hard phonecall), and he was most upset on missing out on the 1st ultrasound and the "early days" of our pregnancy.

I'm with him because for all the little things we disagree on, we have one big thing in common - love for our daughter. Nothing is nicer to see then the way his face lights up when she calls him Daddy, and the way he laughs at her calling me Wa-wa.

What a great thread i wonder if the men in our lives would do the same thing if they were on a forum like this one.

I love my Dh because:
*He always gives me a kiss goodbyewhen he leaves for work and a kiss hello when he comes back.
* He cooks tea when i can't be bothered
* He loves be no matter how i look and for all of my faults
* He gives the best cuddles
* he is my best friend
* He was there when the going got tough while waiting on my nana to die.
* He values my opinion

Hmm like the others i could go on and on

This is so nice! When life gets you down it is far too easy to take it out on your partner and to my shame I am really bad at doing that to DH but I do love and adore him. Oh let me count the ways...
He tells me he loves me many times a day and leaves me little love notes around the house.
He adores his children and is so good with them.
He baths Dominic and Isobelle every night that he is here, and does bed time as well.
He shares the cooking and will help me with the house work if I ask.
He still asks me out on dates!
He goes to work everyday and works hard to support us. He supports me in my decison to be home with the babies.
He thinks I'm beautiful and tells me so...even though I am really not.
He thinks his children are the most beautiful creatures in the world.
He has a silly sense of humour
He makes me smile and he makes me happy.
I can't imagine being without him.
...it goes without saying that he is great in bed!

Awww.. this thread makes me all gooey and teary. Hope I can write about my DH without MIL peeking over my shoulder

I rant and moan about DH way too often (mostly to my girlfriends with babies around C's age) and usually feel terrible for doing it because really he is great and he is an amazing Dad to C.

I love him for many many reasons...

Because he surprises me with random romantic gestures like flowers on the way home from sports on the weekend or on our wedding anniversary he printed out part of his wedding speech "to" me and had it framed.

Because he works bl00dy hard for C and I and supports my choice of staying at home. He also tells other people he couldn't do the job he does without MY support.

Because even though we have an ongoing joke about who's always right (he thinks it's him - ha!) he really does value my opinion but will challenge me when I am being stubborn or afraid to change.

Because of the joy he gets from playing with Callum each morning before work AND all the help he gives me with late feeds, changing nappies, washing and cleaning.

Because even though he thinks I am a sook for hating making phone calls he will still ring and make reservations or for information when I don't want to.

Because he loves my family as much as I do and because he listens to me when I vent about his mum staying with us and doesn't get offended (to clarify: I really appreciate her help - she's great - but I am looking forward to having our house back to ourselves after 6 weeks of visitors).

... I could go on for ages but I think you all get the gist

Lol where do I start

- The baby stopped sleeping through the night. He takes turn about to get up to her, yet still leaves for work at 7am in the morning. He doesn't get in until 6.45 today, if we are lucky, because his work is a while away. Thankfully we are moving soon

- I wanted him to write me a love letter. He gives me a years worth of diary's, all written as though he is talking to me.

- He's been my best mate, since we were 12

-We had 18months apart in our teen years, he took me back when many wouldn't

-For our anniversary he laminated a voucher. We take turns about using it. It has massage, romantic dinner, picnic in the park, 30 mins together doing an activity of choice etc. Its become a fantastic tool for keeping going.

- I have anxiety after a head injury. He handles it beautifully.

- He has given me my family, and makes my dreams come true

- He can cook - well

- He LOVES that I'm a SAHM, and doesn't ever mention what I don't do in a day.

He's just awesome :)

Awww

My DH is wonderful... he's my best friend and I can't imagine doing life without him.

He tells me he loves me several times a day.

He's such a wonderful daddy, no-one can make Harry laugh like he does.

He showers with our son most nights.

He gives me cuddles and kisses even when I push him away.

He cooks dinner most of the time.

He does the dishes, even though it's one of the chores the absolutely hates.

Over the last month, he got up to Harry every time he woke up during the night (often several times a night) and hasn't complained about it.

He puts up with me being on the computer when I should be spending time with him.

He lets me take control of the remote control! (sometimes )

He lets me cry when I need to, and doesn't make me feel silly about it.

He works long days just so that he can have one day a week at home with our boy while I'm at work.

He's a really great friend, and is often doing practical things to help others out.

He's very creative, and has lots of new ideas.

He's been amazingly supportive with helping me deal with my PND.

He takes risks when I'm too scared to.

He makes me laugh every day.

He does the grocery shopping every week and never complains about it.

He takes care of the finances.

He goes out to get takeaways when we're too lazy to cook.

He's the love of my life

Aw I just emailed my DH a link to this thread, look at what I got back

Oh that’s so nice. Thanks love….. This is how perfect we are for one another….

My Wife is wonderful... she's my best friend and I can't imagine doing life without her.

She tells me she loves me several times a day.

She's such a wonderful mummy, no-one can make Harry feel better like she can.

She gets Harry out of the shower and ready for bed most nights.

She gives me cuddles and kisses even in the middle of the night!

She eats my cooking most of the time.

She does the washing, and always has something for me to wear to work.

Over the last few weekends, she got up with Harry so I could have a sleep in and hasn't complained about it.

She puts up with me watching TV when I should be spending time with her.

She lets me take control of the computer in support of my crazy ideas!

She listens to my crazy ideas, and doesn't make me feel silly about it.

She works long days at home with our son and teaching three days a week just so we can have a home of our own.

She's a really great friend, and is often doing practical things to help others out.

She's very creative, and always does cool stuff for Harry and his friends.

She's been amazingly strong in dealing with her PND, even when I questioned her about it!

She makes my life certain when I’m afraid of the future

She makes me smile every day.

She writes down what she wants me to buy from the grocery shop every week and never complains about it.

She takes care of our home.

She lets me get takeaways when I’m too lazy to cook.

She's the love of my life

Awww this is a beautiful thread, made me (and I don't cry)

Ok, here I go, my DH is womderful because

He loves me for me
He encourages me to be the person I strive to be
We have the same goals and dreams for the future
He took on me and my two kids
He is the best Dad in the world
He is agreeing to having a baby even though I want it more than he does
He cooks for me when I can't be bothered
He sorts the kids out when I religiously watch Shorty
He asked me to marry him and said in front of all our friends and family that he loves me and wants to be with me forever
He buys me diamonds
He holds my hand in public
He holds me when I'm upset
He puts up with my moods
He does all this and still stays true to the man he is

I could go on forever but I wont...
I love my DH with all my heart

This is a great thread.

I love my DH because

He is Perfect!

He loves me and tells me so every day at least twice

He ALWAYS kisses me good bye and hello

He is a great dad to our boys

He baths Tom every night

He will get up to Tom in the night if I give him a nudge

He will take one of the kids to work with him on the weekend to give me a break even though he doesnt achieve as much

he isnt afraid to cuddle and kiss his sons and he makes them feel special

He happily changes nappies...even the toddler pooey ones

He does most of the cooking

He does housework without complaint

He works bloody hard at his job

He is passionate about what he does

He cries at sad stories

He cleans up the cat vomit

He puts up with my moods

He thinks I am beautiful

He has the same weird sense of humour as me

I can beat him in most games

He looks after me and makes me feel special

He has a cute bum

He remembers to do things like put the rubbish out, I'd forget for weeks

I'm sure there are plenty more things that make me love him but he is my best friend and my soul mate and I love him more every day.

She's got great (.)(.)

Or at least that's what my DH would say anyway, however that is a good thing considering the state of them post-twins
