Just wondering if anyone uses the DVD or book by Harvey Karp called the Happiest Baby on the Block. If so has it worked for you?

I haven't read/seen it, but Louise from The Sleep Store who is our OHbaby! sleep expert, swears by it.

I have the DVD. I didn't actively use the whole routine as such but I think how he showed you to swaddle the baby correctly was good and I also used the shushing when Ashleigh was upset. But in saying all that, Ashleigh was a very placid baby and very rarely got upset for no reason so I didn't really need to put it all into practice.

I watched the DVD and have tried a few of the techniques - swaddling, shushing and sucking (dummy) - DH likes to put Kaleb on his side and has success with this to settle him but neither of us have done the swaying as much as he does.
