When lil miss was tiny I her merino wraps, she was a winter baby and they were nice and snuggly without overheating her. I also had a couple of the Merino Kids Cocoois which are a similar shape to the Miracle Blanket but made of merino and they were brilliant.
After about 8 weeks tho, she was too wriggly for the merino wraps and kept getting out of them, so I bought some Miracle Blankets and they were brilliant. They say you can only use them up to 14 weeks but I used them successfully until I weaned her off swaddling at about 6 mths.
I hope this helps!

I would go for large merino wraps, that way you can use them as cot blankets once bubs isn't wrapped so better value for money. Best ones I've found are Strawberry Jam ones on Trade Me as they are 1m x 1.2m and come in different weights, I think the trader's name is Scoutie.

I brought the miracle wraps as I have a real houdini. She can't get out of them and seems to be sleeping well with them. Check out the Sleepstore as they have some on clearance

Hi The Maternal Touch Wrap is fantastic! Made of merino, and will last your baby until 6mths because of the size of the wrap. Its for sale on trade me or maternal touch website.

I've just put C back in his Miracle wrap because he gets out of his other swaddles every fr.cken time and wakes himself up. Back to nice long sleeps with the Miracle blanket Good to see you used yours till around 6 months Emma, I do sometimes worry that C will need to be swaddled forever!
