HIm looking at getting a buggy and I was waondering what everyone thought about the buggys where the toddler can sit up front in a little seat?
I'm not keen on a side by side buggy as I really don't think it will fit in the car plus I want to be able to use it when there is just me and Ds too.
I'm not too keen on the one sits infront of the other look either as I just think the one on the bottom gets a raw deal.
We had a toddler seat and it was good, but you need a four wheeler I think. Depending on the weight of the toddler it can be difficult to manage and sometimes unsteady - but my toddler weighed about 18kg at the time.
that said, we got ours second hand for about $20 and it was fabulous. We used it everday when Taine was little and loved it.
I wouldn't worry about one of them having a raw deal with sitting down the back - we have the p&t with the toddler seat and DD1 sits down the back and WILL NOT sit in the top seat - the seat with the view!!!
She has figured out that if she sits in the back then she is more likely to be given a chance to walk some of the time. I can't remember the last time Sophie had to sit back there .
How old is your toddler? We've been looking at toddler boards (as my DD hasn't sat in a pram for almost a year) and I've seen some that have a lower and higher step so the child can sit or stand. This is attached to the back of the pram so they're between the handle and the pram.
This is what I mean.
Or there's this option, which is slightly to the side of the pram.
I want one of thses I have a valco iwth toddler seat and one boy is often in the seat and one on top of pram as I have a lazy walker wonder if yheses can have a seat on the front too.
We had a 3 wheeler pram from farmersor a toddler that had a seat for a toddler and Leah absolutely hated it. She sat in it once and could swing a fair bit in it and it just didn't seem safe. Also everytime she leaned over it made it feel very unstable, and pushing it out on the footpath was a nightmare........inside the mall was ok as it was all even ground, but a slight slope and it wouldn't go straight at all. Of course this might have just been the one we had, and when we got it the staff at farmers couldn't even show us how to attach the toddler seat properly, so it may have been all me,(but no matter what I did it never changed)
Mojo that last option looks FANTASTIC.
I don't have a toddler just my wee boy but I"m going to be looking after some kiddlings as a bit of work from home so want to be able to take them out for walks and the like but still be able to just use it when its just me and my boy. This looks like a great option as it will suit a range of ages. Thanks so much.
WEnt and had a look at pricing and I don't think that I"ll ever be able to offered such a great buggy but it is nice to see a company with thoughts like mine anyways.
