cook meat for DD??

She has just turned 7 months and I need to introduce more meat into her diet. At the moment she only get meat in the store bought baby food we have when out and about. At home it is all homemade baby food.

The main thing I need to know is how do you cook beef (steak/schnitzel etc) so you can then puree it?? Do I just fry it with a spritz of spray or grill it??
I guess also how you cook chicken too?

Then do you add anything to it to puree it??

TIA

I'm not sure how you are meant to do it but with da I just grilled the beef and the chicken I boiled it.

I was told you can cook up some liver the freeze it and grate it when needed, I never tried this though

We did BLW so gave her real food.

A steak done medium rare then cut into strips is good for them to suck/chew on. Another is make a mince stirfry and then puree or feed to them, if they want to feed themselves then just leave bigger chunks of mince.

Anything you eat your baby can eat, just make it soft enough for them to bite into. Cooked chicken breasts are good, just pull strips off for them to eat.

I found casserole and slow cooked meat worked best.
Chicken I boil it with kumara and blitz it.

Like Wriggles, we've been doing BLW- its amazed me what DS could managed quite comfortably at 7 months even though he only got teeth at 10mths.
