Does anybody use bamboo? If so how do you find it?
I am still playing around with my nappies to get a good system going. I think we have night sorted, two HC microfibre and a hemp seems to do the job.
During the day I am packing his nappy with 2 microfibre but still have the odd leak (maybe compression leaking? maybe leg gaps?) Bamboo was suggested to me today while I was buying a bum genius to try and just wondered if anyones using them and how they find them. She didn't have any in stock so couldn't get one to try.
I would really like to be stuffing less in his nappy during the day, as his clothes look totally ridiculous and it greatly effects his range of motion.
Extra info, he is able to pee through fitted and disposables (top range disposables)

I haven't used them yet, but peapods have changed to a bamboo insert now so I'm sure you can buy them on their own.

Microfibre is like a sponge so its quite possibly compression leaking. So you might need to try adding a hemp insert during the day instead of one of those microfibre ones and see if that does the trick. Bamboo is quite absorbent but not as absorbent as hemp and bamboo is slower drying.

I have a bamboo insert that I use with a microfibre, and it works well. It seems to be fairly absorbent, but I do find my hemp boosters better. I got my bamboo insert from Tweedles. I got some hemp boosters from Nix-kids, and have been finding them excellent!!
