Topic: Night time Nappy Posted: 26 August 2010 at 10:03am |
Hi there! Can you recommend me a nappy to use at night time? We are using "real nappies" but are finding that they just aren't cutting it for night time use even with the booster in. DS is proving to be a heavy wetter. Looking to use something else - so recommend me the one you use??
Thanks!

Bitti Boo here. Never had a leak with them, and that is with 13hours and generally around 4 BF throughout the night.

hi, i agree with both Mamat and aethalia.
Bitti boo are great!! very trim but reliable... i first didnt believe that such a trim nappy would do a whole night on my 15 months girl who is a heavy wetter and i ve never had a leak!!!
i have one bitti boo. so on the other nights i use
bamboo Pop in... (take bit longer to dry then Bitti boo i find) and this with a night bamboo booster is also awsome. Great fit, and also one size from birth to potty. ... same here i ve never had a leak.
i ve tried Ecobubs night nappy...but i didnt work so well for my daughter... she was cca 8 months then and the nappy was very bulky and didnt fit that well to her body fit... quite gappy around legs.
well, that s what works for us... hope it s helpfull...and good luck that you find a night nap that works for your little one!!!

I'm with the others Pop-In or bitti boo. We've got both and they both work really well - much better than disposables.

Thanks for your help ladies, will look into those two brands. Have never heard of Pop-In before?
We hate putting him disposables but it's much easier at the moment that having to deal with wet sheets (and trying to dry them in this weather!) and him waking up wet and uncomfortable!

Good idea A&C. I put 3x boosters in, but might try the trifold instead.

We also use bitti boos and pop ins. Have two of each With the bitti boo I just use two mini boosters, and then for the cover put a pocket nappy with one insert in over the top (she needs it all!) no leaks though

I use the pop-in ones, they work a treat however my little girl is a super duper great wee-er so I added a microfibre insert between layers. And I have more inners (night booters) than outers so I stuff my pockets with them for the night too, also works a treat. No more leaks! And this is my little girl who would wee through Huggies two times a night between 7pm and 7am.

Definitely agree with the Pop-Ins and Bitti Boos - I just tried out our new Bitti Boo last night with a Pop-In outer shell as a cover, and it was excellent!

What type of covers does everyone use over their bitti boo's and pop ins? I have been told that Thirsties are really good.
