nothing beats a snappied prefold on a toddler in the summer - no need for a cover if they are outside either. and i found them great if they had a rash cause i could see when they got wet and change them immediatley. and even if you didnt stick with prefolds they make great inserts for pockets.

Yup. I manly use them On DD but I have used them on the odd occasion on DS when I've been to lazy to make up a pocket. I've just bought some new snap wraps too as DS can pull of the applix and DD I have discovered when she's rolling around on the floor she can attach the applix to the carpet and then off comes the nappy.
I wasn't gonig to et them larger size. But DD doesn't quite fit my medium pockets and she's too big for the small prefolds.

Yup, I've only ever used prefolds on the boy. I couldn't get my head round all the choice of MCNs LOL Roo's just a wee midget gem, and still in his small prefolds and bummis pants. I already have the regular prefolds, ready to go, but they look huge lol I plan to use my small prefolds as inserts when he's older.
