i was visiting a friend the other day and we were talking scones and she said that she had accidentally made cheese scones without butter one day and surprising they came out really well.

made sense really that the cheese would replace the butter as the fat...

I think thats really normal to make cheese scones without butter?

I think they can be a lot lighter....
