I bled for a couple of weeks after miscarrying. Then I stopped and about three weeks later I got a period. Usually my period goes for 3 days. This time it went for about 5 days, stopped for a day and then kept going. Its now been about 10 days. I've had quite a few mc but I've never had this happen before.

Has anyone had this happen. Did it indicate some kind of problem like incomplete mc?

Also, I'm on clexane, a blood thinner, would that make any difference?

I know any kind of anticoagulants "messed" up my cycles compared with when I'm not on them, especially the first cycle after IVF which I'll never know whether it was a result of the hormones, the Clexane or a mixture. Were you on Clexane for your previous MCs? I was on Clexane up until I found out this was a missed MC, so will be interested in any responses to your post.

I got put on clexane after they found a clot in an uterine artery during the 6 week scan. After I miscarried they told me I needed to stay on it for 12 weeks all up because of the clot. I haven't had it for my previous mc.

I'd put it down to the anticoagulant effect then. I found a link that might help explain what you're experiencing, not exactly the same, but might help. link
