Does anyone know if this can be make successfully with lite cream cheese? I bought the wrong container by mistake and Im not sure it will work the same.

I just made yummy red velvet cupcakes and I want to make the same but as a cake. I have a great recipie if anyone is interested :-)

Yes please to the recipe, but I'm afraid I have no idea on the lite vs normal.

I'm pretty sure it works the same. I use either, depending on what I have and haven't really noticed a difference.

I LOVE red velvet cake/cupcakes...looking forward to the recipe! I got one online from the Magnolia Bakery or something and it was really good!

Ive just posted the recipe. Its not the healthiest (sp?) cake, but very, very yummy. I think all that oil is what makes it so beautiful and moist **that is supposed to be a smiley licking lips!
