do you mean nipple pierced? As far as I know (dont have that piercing myself) there isnt a problem. Have heard that milk can come out of the pierced hole too!

I had my nipple pierced, and I can breastfeed without any problems (well without problems related to that!!). If you have concerns about breastfeeding I would highly recommend you go along to your local La Leche League - pregnant women are more than welcome to attend meetings, and the women are really supportive and come from a range of backgrounds and are able to provide lots of info and support.

I had my nipple pierced as well and i took it out about a year before i got pregnant . i had alot of breastfeeding problems at the beggining but not related to the piercing at all , after a few months once breastfeeding was going better i noticed that my baby HATED feeding off the side i had had pierced , i think maybe she couldnt get enough milk out of it or she had to suck alot harder but not too sure , at 4mths old i stopped breastfeeding from that breast and my daughter just fed off the other side (yes i was a bit lopsided) but i still managed to breastfeed until she self weened at one year old! so even if you were to have problems you can still feed off one side , From what iv heard thay can get everything they need out of one breast as your body makes up for it and just fills the good breast . im not 100% if it was piercing related as to why she stopped feeding off that side but i definatly think it had something to do with it .
