Topic: I LOVE CLOTH :) Posted: 15 June 2007 at 9:39am |
I am in love with cloth nappies. No wonder I can't stop buying them. Not only do they come in the best range of colours and patterns, but since we have been using them full time Samantha's nappy rash has cleared up completely for the first time in her life! Seriously, between the nappy's and cloth wipes the problem is finally solved without having to use a cream or lotion! YAY!
I wonder if that means I can go buy more?

Nappies are an essential though Sarah Beth
I am jumping on the the loving cloth soapbox too. There are just sooo many cute options and no stinky nappy rubbish.
Yes I have an addiction and proud of it

I am not going to buy any nappies for atleast the next fortnight. I have just put my wedding band into Michael Hill to be resized and cleaned so it is either a new nappy or getting my ring back. I know which one DH would prefer!
And speaking of nappy rubbish - PU! The sangenic reeks with the heater in Sam's room. We are now putting the nappy in a little blue scented bag first to try and fix the problem otherwise it is going to be removed to another room where it is not near a heater!
Unfortunatley still an necessary evil to have sposies at night as we don't have enough (I know, can you believe it) cloth nappies to go fulltime yet!

You don't? 8-10 would be enough if you can wash and dry every day. Oh and a couple of extra inserts are great cause they take longer to dry than the covers (if you are going the pocket way).

I know Teresa, the shopping thing coming back to bite me again:) Most of the nappies are mediums which don't fit Sam yet, but once this next lot of tweedles arrive we will have 11 small so I just need to get some more inserts and we will be in the cloth fulltime. I don't mind doing a load everyday, still not as expensive as the sposies.

I'm looking at using cloth nappies for when our little one arrives, but I'm sick of people saying 'see how long that lasts' when I tell them I'm going to use cloth!!!! Its got to a stage when I don't even mention it now.
But then I come on this forum and everyone is so positive about using cloth....its great

Don't worry I got this from a friend of mine who said boys can't wear cloth nappies. I asked if she knew what the nappies looked liek and she said yeah the flat whites. Once she saw what I meant by cloth she changed her tune and now things they would be easy to do.

OMG, I just read Paws note on new colours! I have only just bought the train Fuzzi, what more can they do?
I am selling some stuff on TM at the moment, perhaps I could use that to fund some new fuzzis :)
I also just had my orange flame and purple butterfly tweedles arrive yesterday :) I can't help myself it is an addiction!
Shocked the plunket nurse today when I had to get sam naked for weighing and there was a pink nappy!
