We have the Phil & Ted E3 (now replaced by the Sport), It is the one where the smaller baby is underneath. I have to say that I really love it. We had this buggy from when Amy was born and when Sophie arrived we just bought the second child attachment. A lot of my friends have it too as most of us have had a second child this year. None of the youbger babies are objecting to being underneath. The great thing is that it is the same size/width as a regular buggy which means that we can still go for farily long rugged bush walks with the dog.
Maybe try renting one for a month from someone like Baby on the Move (am I allow to say that on this site??

I found this on www.kiwibaby.co.nz. I've not tried one nor heard of anyone that has but it looks like a great idea. I especially like the way it folds away when the toddler wants to walk.

Thanks. that wee attachment looks really cool. Only downside is our current stroller is a two piece jobbie as it can be rear facing so I don't think it would be able to fit it :(
Thinking of maybe a Phil and Ted. Just so much $$!!

we went for the double mountian buggy... its only 5.5cm wider than the single, so didnt think that was to bad, it still fits through all our internal/external doorways at home, (just have to get our concrete path widened! :P ) hehe

I have been looking into this too lately and just picked up my P&Ts today (bought from TM in the end).
Haven't got the new baby yet, but am stoked so far!! Love the way it is so easy to snap the toddler seat on and off and pack up whole thing. Pushes really well too.
We had the same problem with weight restrictions and P&Ts seemed to be the only way to go

We have a double MB and I love it. Really easy to steer and still fits through standard doorways. I don't take it into town and didn't much take my single one into town much either anyway. Sling was definitely the way to go there! I got the double to use when out walking/running.
I like that the girls are side by side and when bubs gets a bit older she and DD1 will be able to talk to each other (and annoy each other LOL) which wouldn't happen with a stacked stroller.

I have a Valco Runabout Tri Mode and the toddler seat attachment holds up to 20kgs which I believe is one of the heaviest weight capacities I have seen. Thankfully I planned ahead when buying the pram originally with my first and got the toddler seat with it at the time so am ready for the next one now.
Oh yeah, and the toddler gets to sit at the front..

I have an old stroller similar to pepsi's. It can be a bit hard to maneoveur at times because of the weight at the front but the pic she has posted looks like the toddler is not quite as far out the front as ours.
When I had Kryssi I actually had her in the sling for quite a few months, it was a lot easier than a double stroller. By the time I wanted her in a stroller (heavy!) she was big enough for a simple double umbrella stroller, which can take 17kgs per seat. (Hannah at 4yrs is now 17kgs.) If you regularly like going walking around the block etc, that won't be good enough but if you mostly want the stroller for going shopping/around town, it would actually be fine.
Look what I just found!

Did you see this one at farmers. its almost the exact same as phil n teds sport but cheaper, and kiwi baby are having a sale on the sportkiwibaby you can get the buggy plus toddler seat for cheaper than the buggy itself in shops. but shhhhhhhhh.

Is that all? I thought it would be wider. DH chose the MB when we were pg with Jack and I just thought that I would have to get the kiddie board that they have, maybe I will trade in for a double? I have the bassinette for the MB so can't really get a toddler seat to go in the front

I just saw a mum out with her two children in a P&T where one child sits underneath and I must say it didn't look all that comfortable for the one down below (although she had the older down there and the younger up top) and she was definitely having trouble steering.
