I have recently been given an Avent IQ breatpump as a gift after having recently bought a Medela Swing. As I would ideally like to give one to my sister in law who is having a baby a month after I am due, I was wondering if anybody has used either of these and which one is better?

I had the Medela Swing and it was great... no problems with it at all. Can't comment on the Avent.

From reviews I've read, and recommendations from my midwife and lactation consultant, the Medela Swing is the best, especially if you are going to pump on a regular basis.

I've also brought myself a Medela Swing, as I will be pumping about 3 to 4 feeds a day from it.
