Ashlee's on formula, and when we had our 15mth Plunket visit, I sheepishly told the nurse that she was still on formula, not cow's milk (just habit for us, and laziness on not switching Ashlee over fully to cow's milk). She said it doesn't matter. As long as they're getting some sort of milk. With the price of cow's milk these days, it's probably just as expensive as formula

Charlotte is still on formula, and is in fact on the follow on one, not toddler. This is on doctors advice (she has a tendancy to get constipated so we were told to avoid cow's milk till she is about 2).

If you are worried, talk to your doctor or plunket nurse.

Water and watered down juice are great things....As earlier they only need milk for the Calcium in it...And by 12 months can be having lots of water and juice and smoothies with fruit and yoghurt etc. Got to be adventerous with these toddlers diets aye!

Maddie is almost fully weaned onto cows milk, we bought the toddler formula and then promptly changed our minds after getting other advice....she has 3 bottles of cows milk per day plus is a cheese fiend so she's fine there!
