Topic: Specialist apt today Posted: 30 July 2008 at 6:11pm |
So I went to a specialist appointment today to organise some tests to see if there is any medical problem underlying my two m/c. I was a bit nervous because I've done a lot of reading that said that there wasn't good evidence for lots of tests and treatments for recurrent m/c and lots of doctors don't test for everything. However, the specialist was willing to do all the main tests and said that even if they all come back normal he will put me on progesterone and low dose aspirin for my next pregnancy (actually the treatment that I was planning to suggest if he didn't!)
It was such a relief. Now I just have to wait for the test results and I don't know whether to hope for them to find something or not find something.

You have a good specialist who sounds like they are very onto it and very helpful.
