i will coth next week and am wondering do you have to wash them before i put them on james and how many times do you wash

I did, if you have hemp inserts then they will need a few pre washes to help with the absorbancy.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I always try them on Kaleb when they first arrive then very promptly wash them.

if i can resist putting them on straight away, i usually wash them and pop them in the dryer for abit. otherwise (and generally) no i don't
but in saying that, i have experienced leakage probs from most new nappies before they have been washed and dried a few times
yay for going cloth lu!!!

just put them through a rinse cycle Lou, that'll get rid of anything left on the fleece from the manufacturing process

the likes of peapods the inserts need to be washed around 6 times before you get full absorbancy. I normally get to 3 times and think - blah thats enough LOL.. got some happy heinys today... whoo hoo can't wait to try on him...
