Is there any such thing as a cloth swimmer and if so which one would you recommend? What age is it ok to take them swimming?

Yep theres quite a few swim nappies out there. There are monkey doodlez and imse vimse ones. Those are the ones I know of anyway. We have an imse vimse one, but will get a monkey doodlez in medium just to see what its like.

I have a funky bumz swim nappy which I really like, although it is a little saggy once wet. Most swimming pools recommend that your baby should be six months old before going in a public pool. I took DD a bit earlier to start swimming lessons (like, five and half months old) but didn't put her head under until she was six months old.

I have one and the brand begins with "B". I got it from the NappiesforLess store.
As for swimming I used to work at a pool and they say 6 months as that is when they can regulate their body temp better. But I took both my kids at 3 months and had no issues.

We have just bought the Monkey Doodlez with a giraffe on the bum. It is so cute It seems to fit really well although we haven't had it wet yet as we can't start swimming lessons for a few more weeks. We got it off the mothers Instinct site for $27 which seems to be a pretty standard price for them.
