I am considering buying a swaddleme wrap to try with baby #2...just wondering if anyone has tried these or any other type or ready wrap thingy? Is it worth it?
I'm coveting one of the Merino Kids Coccois, trying to justify paying $50 for one tho...

yeah i think we got ours from Baby Factory just three colours of wraps (23$ each though) just muslin with a line in the middle where to wrap... they were great lasted all the way till we just stopped wrapping:)
they look lovely... definitely go for cotton, not synthetic... you can get some good deals on trademe at times too. :)
OR I found a LARGE stretchy cotton fabric worked really well.... you can just buy the fabric you want from somewhere like spotlight and just edge the fabric, the stretchy is good to get a 'tight' wrap, and if its' large enough baby has less chance of getting themselves unwrapped :)
My friend has just moved back from the states and raves about swaddleme wraps. I know you can get the kiddopotamus (wrong spelling!!) ones from Baby Factory but i ordered some online from the states and it was cheaper with the exchange rate and postage....didnt realise they had them at Baby City though - would have been much easier
I'm expecting my first baby & bought Miracle Blanket for her. Having seen this blanket in Youtube, it's easy for me and safe for my bub. I got them from TM. Brand New & $20 each!!
HI there I have designed my own baby wraps called the Magic Baby Wraps...in either 100% Muslin or 100% Merino. They will last you from birth right up to 4 months. I work as a baby advisor and got sick and tired of wrapping babies in the many complicated wraps that are available....so decided to make my own. The wrap has a simple pocket on one side where your babys feet go in so they can never kick the wrap off. The Magic Baby Wrap is 1 metre square. Check out www.maternaltouch.co.nz for details.

I tried a ready-wrap (very unhelpfully can't remember which one!) but I preferred the simple large muslins from b'factory. Elle used them from 3mths and still takes one to bed now (it is a great sleep cue and means she will sleep anywhere away from home).
I 100% recommend muslin wraps + merino go-go bags. They were the best purchases I made.
I have a merino wrap which is just a 1m square that is super stretchy. I am finding it to be lovely as a wrap although it has taken some real learning as to how to wrap him so his arms don't come out and am thinking as he gets older I'll probably have to find something which is a little harder to wriggle out of.
