Topic: Opinions on Phil and Teds Vibe Posted: 17 September 2009 at 7:28pm |
Hi
I am pretty sure that I am going to buy the Phil and Teds Vibe pram.
Wanted to know from those who own one, are they good?
Does the brake continue to work well after lots of use?
Any opinions, thoughts are welcome.
Thanks

We have one, we got it when we found out we were having number two. It still looks brand spanking and the brake works well.
DH said that its a pain to run with though as the brake is where your one hand naturally wants to rest so he is forever accidentally putting on the brake and coming to a grinding halt lol.

We have got one, just waiting for a baby to arrive to put in it.
We also had concerns about the brake, but P+T head office assured us that they've had no issues...so we'll take their word for it. Fingers crossed!
Interesting feedback from LF - my DH is planning on running with it, so we'll have to come up with a brake cover or something....
We probably prefered the Mountain Buggy, but the fact that we might go back for number 2 (and therefore may need a toddler seat) was the reason for the P+T purchase.
It's pretty style-y looking!!!

We bought one, but haven't used it yet - unless you count up and down the driveway
We just bought the cocoon thing to go onto it for when bubs is really little - its all so easy to put together and folds so well - I felt like others you needed a degree to figure out how to fold the damn things. Also, I can get it in and out of the car boot easily myself

I really love it, it is real easy to fold up and down, and is easy to lift out of the car too. You grow muscles with lifting a heavy capsule so now it feels rather light when you have to put it in the boot.
I like the dact you can move the hood over to block out the sun too

Hiya
We used one for a couple of weeks and found the brake to be quite annoying too. I also have a friend who has had to have the brake on hers fixed twice in the last year.
But then other friends love theirs and havent had any issues with it

Ours is going great, and we've had no issues with the brake.

Thanks guys for your experiences.
We are definately going to buy the vibe, will prob get the peanut too.
If something goes wrong, at least they are a good company, and will fix it.
Thanks
