Topic: Dunedin baby shops Posted: 09 March 2010 at 5:22pm |
So Mum, my brother and I are looking at going shopping in Dunedin this week, what shops are there?
I know of the ones in Meridian, Golden centre and the one over the road where New World is (so JK kids, cotton on kids, t&t, that small branded one by new world, baby factory by no.1.shoes, kmart, arthur barnett)
What else is there? Not interested in likes of Farmers which we have down here. Are looking for all general stuff, clothes, prams, cots etc as we are still just "shopping" so far!

Baby City is near the Chinese Gardens they have all that stuff. Other than that one and what you have mentioned there are two boutique baby shops - Cradle (in Roslyn) and Miracle on St Andrews St (Starbucks is on the corner).
You should come and have a coffee!!

Hhmm so not really that much different? We have baby city and baby factory down here. Might be worth a look still as I imagine they'd be bigger shops!
I would come for coffee, but my Mum and bro will be around lol I'll definately be coming up a few more times at least before we pop Booski!
Is there anything out South Dunedin? NEV?

Ring Julie at Baby on the move and book a appt with her to go over prams, cots and carseats/capsules. Shes a ball of knowledge and really nice to deal with. Also she has great advice regarding these items too.

I'd 2nd giving Julie at Baby on the Move a call she is great and the prices aren't that bad either. Cradle is great up in Roslyn and I think she is having a sale at the moment. Country Road has some nice baby things but it is pricey. Hope you have fun shopping.

It's definately down there, I bought a cute pair of jeans yesterday!
I walked in and the lady walked up to me, they have wee scratchy pads things and she handed me one for 30% off!! STOKED! Otherwise I wouldn't have bought the jeans!
