Topic: Whats on your nappy wish list? Posted: 05 January 2008 at 8:31pm |
Now that I'm thinking about buying some large nappies for Leo I'd like to try a few new pocket nappies and just wondered - if you could buy any pocket nappy to try, what would it be and why?

Not a pocket but I would love to try a Snazzi. I'm still learning when it comes to nappies and have only used pockets so I would like to branch out a little.

I would love to try the Honeychild ones since I have always like Fuzzibunz. Although I feel they are a bit pricey But I do prefer snaps (harder to undo, esp by accident). I'd also be really keen to try out inserts that aren't just microfibre so that would work well with HC nappies.
I have drybees, great nappy and a lot cheaper, unfortunately in velcro though.
ETA: I'd also be keen to try the bubblebubs - Emma showed me them once and they looked really good!

I have all the nappies I've wanted to try .. though I'm still disappointed with a couple of them *pouts*
Teresa - I have a bubblebubs, my only gripe with it is that it takes 2 days to dry.. even in yesterdays heat it didn't dry!

I love our Honeychild pockets. The ones we have are wearing really well and we just love them! Even with my super pee-er they very rarely leak! And it helps that the colours are gorgeous! I am looking forward to ordering some more later this month!
BTW I love my bubblebub, and it only takes a few hours on the line to dry Stacey. 2 days eek! You wouldn't want to only have that brand!
I am coveting another bubblebub in red atm. Look out c/c

Yeah I don't know what it is about it that makes it sooo hard to dry. All my others dried on the line (including all my hemp inserts) yesterday in about 3 hrs, it was 26 degrees according to our outdoor themometer.. yet after a full day out in that my bubblebub was still damp!

yup! i have the same prob with my bubblebub - taking AGES!! to dry even though we have almost the hottest weather here!!! and after speaking to others that say theirs dry fast i have come to the conclusion that the velour inner ones dry fine but the flanelette inner ones take ages!!!
I have tried all the nappies i wanted to and i prefer HC as my main nappy even though i have a gripe with their SLOWWWWWWWWW service!!!
My only nappy that seems to last the distance with no leaks so far is my foxybots

Snazzipants are selling BabyKangas which intrigue me - I want one just to play with.
And also a bamboozle because they look so so soft and fluffy. (not a pocket nappy but I still want one)
Sadly I don't need any more nappies at the moment - she's not even in cloth yet.

Do you think it's the nappy that makes foxybots so reliable or is it their hemp/mf combo insert? Also, Stacey - when are you getting more of those inserts?

I think it is the nappy itself as I don't have any of her inserts yet.
To make it sound really good. I have one of the first nappies made (don't I Stace??) and I use this as my night nappy. It is stuffed to high heaven (so to say) and was on Josh last night for about 15 hours - no leaks at all.

Yay, I just odered 2 Foxybots nappies, with mf/hemp combo inserts!! I'm so excited, they look just delish! As a result, I've had to list 6 of Leo's medium Fuzzis (USA-made) on TM to pay for the Foxybots
