Topic: Kiddies table and chairs...any ideas? Posted: 13 July 2008 at 4:38pm |
We are thinking about getting Tom a table and chairs set soon. He looks so cute at the little set at preschool and it would be good to give him his morning or afternoon tea at a table rather than always in his highchair.
anyone have any recommendations?
TIA

No idea sorry, Seb loves his little wooden table & chair, but we bought it from a "NZ/home made" store in Petone, was only $67 on 10% off sale, so we're pretty happy with that, would've been $92 with 2 chairs, but he gets up to enough trouble with 1! If there are any chairs/people that might make things like that around your area it's probably worth checking out though?

We got a mocka set for Daniel as well. They are sooooo strong. I can sit on the little chairs and it has no probs holding my weight. It's nice thick plastic rather than the thin brittle stuff. It's also sooooo easy to clean.

we got a set from toi toyz (I think they also sell them on trade-me). They are wooden and made in NZ and we got them for Ellas birthday and she uses them ALL the time (only meal she eats in her highchair now is dinner). They are really easy to clean and I can sit in one of chairs and be quite comfortable.

We got ours from Ikea in Aust, they have them on trade me but they are much more expensive than buying ourselves and bringing over. They were flat pack so easy to bring back
MAMMUT children's table $49.00 MAMMUT children's chair $19.95 More options MAMMUT children's stool $9.95 More options
they have a whole range of 'mammut' furniture & the chairs and stools hold a large adult
