We need to upgrade carseats for our toddler (2 years, 12kg) so we can move our 4mth old into her current seat.

We are looking at either the Radian or P&T tott but not sure if either one will fit into our car!

Does anyone have a nissan primera (ours is a 2001) and what carseat do you use? Or have you heard whether those seats will fit?

hey we have a 2001 Primera, and use a tott xt for our 3 yo and a safe and sound for our 18mo, it fits ok, it is very wide so you can't really fit anyone in the middle seat, and also it stretches the seatbelt right to the end, so is a mission to get out again because of the locking thing that the seatbelt does, so if you get it you might want to get a seat belt extended.

My mom has a late 90's model primera (not sure which exactly though sorry) and the radian fitted but the front passenger seat was so far foward and on such an angle as to render it usless to a front seat passenger.

The supernanny fitted well because it has very short "arm rests" compared to the Phil *& Teds Tott xt.

Would you be using the Radian rear facing or forward. There are very few cars where the Radian can't fit forward facing.

Thank you ladies! I ended up getting the Radian, they are so easy to install compared to the P&T carseats.

For those who are interested here is is installed rear-facing in our car for our 2yo - it is on a greater angle than it would need to be for a under 6mo. If we wanted to have it on the 45degree angle recommended for under 6mo it would need to be in the middle seat so the top rests between the two front seats.

And like chuffed mentioned, no issues at all installing forward facing.
