Topic: Help - issues with snaps! Posted: 05 November 2009 at 12:29pm |
I've got a few ecobubs wool pockets, and one of them (my fav pick and chocolate one...sniff sniff) has started not snapping properly IYGWIM? It's like the snaps just won't close properly, but it's happening on all of the snaps on that one nappy.
Does anyone with some more snap knowledge than me know if I can fix this at all? The nappy is coming undone with just a gentle tug now, which obviously isn't a good thing! I've had them for months and months now, so don't like my chances of going back to the place I bought them!

It sounds like the snaps need replacing. Even if you went back to ecobubs themselves (if you got them from somewhere else) they might just say send them back and they will put new snaps on them.

Thanks ladies - now that I think about it, i probably bought them directly from ecobubs, so will go back to them. I've had another ecobubs wool pocket that the wool has frayed around the snaps too, so probably worth 'complaining' about both of them together!
I was just wondering if it was something I had done, as they weren't always like this!

I've heard a few people say they have had issues with the snaps on some of the newer ecobubs. I wonder if they changed manufacturer or something?

I can't remember if the nappies I'm having problems with are older or newer, but having said that, I bought all of them within a couple of months, so in theory they could all be 'new' or 'old'
I've emailed ecobubs with my issues, but no reply as yet. I'll chase up and call next week sometime.

Just for anyone that's interested, I heard back from ecobubs, and they're going to fix the snaps on the nappy that won't do up properly, and replace the nappy that has wool frayed around the snaps. Posted them off today, so should get them back shortly!
So it does pay to complain (in a nice way of course!)
