Can anyone recommend a good one?

Are the Grobag ones really bright (my little girl is a very light sleeper)? Worth the $s?

We just use a Philips Avent thermometer that we got from Baby City for $50. It's a room and bath one. We only use it for the bath water if we're away as we have gas hot water at home.
I find it very accurate, but it doesn't glow, I have to use the hallway light to read it at night. I did look at the Grobag ones, but didn't have the $$ at the time.

If you buy a Grobag they come with a very basic, but adequate room thermometer. I also was given a similar type of one for the bath by Plunket.

We  our gro bag egg....in fact we buy them as a standard gift for our friends having babies now....

They arent that bright, we use it as a night light for DS as well as the temperature. It has been fantastic for us, as I am always cold and tend to overdress DS and DH is always warm.......so we often argued about how many blankets etc he needed on...now we use the egg as a guide!
