If they're being sold here then they have to conform to the standards??
Maybe compare it's points with one you get from baby factory? Ie length, weight it goes up to, have a feel of how it clicks in & out of the base & check the safety standard

The capsule does conform to ECE standards. I did some research and found that these however are different to AUS and NZ standards (AUS ones are a lot higher than ours) and ECE only test for rear and front crashes not side impact etc.
Seems silly to put DS in a Diono and keep him rear facing for safety reasons and put the new baby in this capsule, so going to give it a miss.
