Topic: accomodation in / near to Dunedin Posted: 15 August 2010 at 2:41am |
We are a family of 5, with 3 very young children, who are hoping to move to the Dunedin area until the end of December. We would ideally like to live a bit out of the city in somewhere that is already furnished, as it is a temporary move but this seems to be a real issue. Does anybody have any suggestions of where to look for such places, or even better, somewhere they are looking to rent out?
Thanks v much
Kat

We were down there last year and rented a apartment from The Commadore Motel for a few months. They have other places off site, they are in the city though but it was great being able to walk to town (about 15min walk....and flat!)
Included was Power, Sky, Phone (your own number) Broadband, cleaning once a week.
I looked at so many places (we needed furnished also) and this was the best option for us.
The other option is to look on the holidayhouses or holidayhomes websites, as someone may want to rent a place out for that amount of time.

Hav a look in the ODT or put an add in there stating what you are after. Maybe give a few real estate places a ring and see if they have any rentals that meet your needs

glad to hear you are not so far away. Breagha is 2 years 9 months, so very close in age to Chloe so hopefully they can have some fun!
