Topic: Can I borrow?? Posted: 23 October 2007 at 6:41pm |
A fitted from anyone. I want to try one out on Daniel at night.. his night time nappies are just absolutely huge and no combo of inserts is working so I thought I'd give fitteds a try. It would have to be suitable for a mega pee'er though. He's in medium pockets.. I just don't want to fork out $$ for them if they aren't going to work either.

I have a swaddlebee fitted that he could perhaps try. I think it only fits up to 7.5kg though. I have never actually used it at night but i do use them as my going out nappies as they are more reliable. I have thought about trying one at night but haven't been brave enough yet, as we have a combo of inserts that is working for us and he is sleeping through and don't want to mess that up if it doesn't work.

I know the pockets aren't recommended for mega pee'ers but is it the same for the fitted ones, I thought they were suppose to be quite good?

Yeah thats true they are quite narrow through the crotch, I'm not sure about boosting it, I honestly don't think I could stuff anything in there it is pretty trim. I've had 5 hours without a leak during the day when I tried it out the first day that I had it, Spencer is quite a big pee'er but from what you've said Stacey I don't think he is as bad as Daniel
You are more than welcome to try one though if you like, I have two so can spare one for a week or so. If he isn't too big for it.

One of my friends who has a swaddlebee fitted told me not to bother with them because it won't last Daniel. He's a crazy pee'er.. last night we tried: 2 honeychild inserts, 2 peapod inserts and a hemp insert and it still leaked.. the inserts are totally soaked too so I know its just not enough absorption.

wow that is a lot of wee, yeah probably not worth trying. I thought Spencer was a big pee'er but normally two honey childs and a hemp will do him for a night.
