I bought a couple of Real Nappies at the P & C Show ($5 trial nappies! BARGIN! ) and was just wondering if anyone else used them on their toddlers?
I also bought an Ecobots trial ($10 trial - still a prefold and a wrap) and she said their cotton prefolds are the best for heavy wetters. I have all fingers and toes crossed that they are as good as she says.
i still put toby in a snappied prefold sometimes. they were my fave for round home last year with just a t shirt and no cover too, not sure abut why they would be best for heavy wetters tho, mind you i think ecobots are unbleached and they do have more layers in them...so yeah she could be right about that too. they make great pocket stuffers too.
no i think unbleached prefolds are more absorbent... couldnt see info on the ecobots site but i know snazzipants unbleached prefolds are 8 layers thru the middle as opposed to 6 for the other prefolds...
I use real nappies on Jake sometimes, I don't even use pins.snappi, etc, just folded in three like a liner and it s all good. I use cloth flats or terry flats, though as I find my prefold too bulky. THats just me, though. Good buying!!!

I use them on a toddler. We don't pin or snappi either - just pad fold them. I find them fairly reliable. I got one of those $5 packs too - so cheap!!!
