Quote Ditto! We don't pay any fees and I find their internet banking awesome.

Streamline has no fees for electronic transactions. Their banking is realtime so no delays and I know it sounds silly, but some banks only let you put numbers as references and that is a pain when you look back at your statements, but asb let you put letters as references eg from Mum and Dad or whatever.

We have a streamline account as well. They seem to have a much better interest than any other bank esecially if you want to put some money into a term deposit.

I totally forgot that Dh has a overdraft account with kiwibank but it is A real PITA if we want to deposit money into our account as we have to wait a couple of days for the money to go through.

We are with westpac and only have been with them. They were the only ones that would give us a mortgage 12 years ago which was a good bet as they now have had three mortgages from us so they have made a killing on interest. We also have the same lady we applied for our first mortgage to deal with. She is like a personal manager and we email or call her direct if there are any issues. This I love but I am not sure if this is something they are sposed to do or if it is just the relationship we have built up with her over the years. She is friends with our lawyer so when we buy a place she pops over before work to the lawyers and drops docs in etc. So convenient.

we have our joint accounts with ASB and find them great but I have a account with Kiwibank and have found them quite good to deal with too.
