Avon

I am thinking of doing something like Avon to earn a bit of extra cash.

Has anyone else done or is doing Avon?

I know it's free to get started, but are there extra hidden costs to it?   How much time realistically would I have to spend doing it?

More importantly? Would you buy Avon? From me?   Can I advertise on Facebook? I know ohbaby is out, but most of you are on my facebook anyway.

Still umming and ahhing about it at the moment.   My business minded DP would help me do it, and I have quite a few contacts like family and friends.

Just don't know if I should bite the bullet!

If I was going to sell something I would prob do Nutrimetrics. I don't personally like Avon.

You can't advertise (it's in your contract)
You have to purchase all the brochures and samples and bags etc. Costs are really quite high, you need to be getting a number of BIG orders before you make profit.
You need at least 10-15 hours a week you can invest in the business.
Yes I buy Avon products, but no way will I be selling again! (It's to easy to spend what little profit you make).
