Just reading that some of you found this site from reading Woman's Day.... Can I suggest New Idea as your next magazine purchase Hehehe.... I work in magazine distribution (all the marketing, promotions plus distribution etc for over 3000 magazines) and Woman's Day is not one of our titles.....!!

Thamks yip 25weeks.. im slowly getting there, i just got out of hospital yesterday, had a urinary tract infection which started contractions yay, the contractions arnt regular or to strong, but im off to wellingtom tomorrow, im scared, but its the safest place to have baby early if it comes, if they think im ok ill get to come home otherwise i have to stay down there, and Andrew cant get time off work till next thur so my sis taking me down tomorrow, if i have to stay i will be so lonely, i hate being so far away with nobody to talk to.. im a scaredy cat... I just hope they let me come home again after scan and stuff

I hope everything is ok in Welly judith It definitely is the best place to be if needed tho. My sis was there for quite a few weeks and she got really lonely and bored, but her babies decided to come all of a sudden. There wouldnt have been time to get her from Palmy Hosp to Welly in time, so she was really glad she was there.

If you have to stay in Welly, when can you get transferred back to Palmy if bubs stays put? Is it 28 weeks or later than that? Do you have any family or friends in Wellington?
Also Judith, my sis was in a similar situation to you. Her hubby had to go back to the states to work (thats where they live, but her waters broke at 18/40 when they were here on hols) and my mum and dad in Dannevirke looked after their one year old daughter while she was in hospital from 20 weeks. She had her twins in Welly at 30 weeks.
