Pumice. I craved pumice. Anything like that.
Don't know why I was after textures rather than tastes???
And smells... I was obsessed with the smell of cleaning products.
hrmmmmm.... Hopefully that means Han is going to be a clean freak and make up for me being messy
hhhmmmm, so did you actually eat any of it Nikki? aparently sometimes if you have weird cravings like that (they're called Pica i think) if you have them constantly and you finally give in and eat a tiny bit it will go away. who knows.
I did eat it. I think it was our foot pumice. But I'm pretty sure no one had used it. I hope. (Ignorance will do me fine. No kids were living there at the time and it was in our bathroom and looked pretty clean and new. Ahhh.)
I just chewed it up and spat it out. Tried swallowing but it wasn't so good.
Someone suggested chewing ice instead and it was ok, but just not the same as chowing down on a piece of rock.
Also got cravings for clay when driving past some limestone-ish cliffs. Weird. Very weird. My family thought I was nuts.
I heard about that kind of thing too Nikki - apparently it is the body telling you that you need certain minerals etc... apparently some women even go into the garden and hard out start eating dirt etc.
In my first pregnancy all I craved was chocolate and was eating a king sized block a day. This time I have only been having random cravings on a day to day basis, mostly I crave weet bix with warm milk but only really late at night. Right now I really could kill for one of those new chocolate fudge pudding sundae things, the ones at mcdonalds with the hot fudge cake and melting ice cream and all that yummy hot chocolate fudge. . .who am I kidding I don't want one I want five of them!!!
