Topic: good day time nappy thats not too bulky? Posted: 15 July 2009 at 8:03am |
Hi ladies
Im all new to this and just purchased my first 3 nappies! talk about confusing!
I got an AIO for the day, pocket nappy and a hemp nappy for night, I know they can be used for day too but are quite bulky
so was wondering what others use for day nappies that arent too bulky and what brands etc do you like best?
Im not that keen on prefolds since its a mission to get a nappy on Jayden anyway

I'm formulating a bigger email to you, but in the meantime, when we meet up I'll give you a couple of itti bittis to try I used to adore them and got far too many of them, should really sell them. (They're still good, just JJ's kinda between sizes on them which is a PITA.)

I love Itti Bitti AIO's for a quick, no-fuss daytime nappy. They're really cute, soft, trim and absorbent - my DH says they're his favourite because they're the easiest to put on
If you're after a pocket I really like Honeychild - although they're a little pricey but you can usually get them preloved on TM

I have quite a few pocket nappies, but they are a tad bulky on Cam, especially since he's a heavy wetter so needing more inserts, but he's a skinny bub!
I'm going to try Itti's again, when I have the money to get some.
If you like the fitted nappy, I got a half-price Totsbots Flexitots fitted to try out, and its so soft and very trim, fits like a disposable.

I love my pockets, and have a massive variety of inserts to chop and change :) A find a thin microfibe and hemp insert to work a treat during the day, but Hollie is becoming quiet the chubbychops.

I love my honeychild/fuzzi bunz for day time. I much prefer pockets to AIO. I use 1 insert and a booster which is bulky but my wee girl is a big wetter.
