Just thought id see what everyone has planned for their lovely partner on Valentines Day ? Im still trying to figure out a nice, sweet thing to do. Me and my partner are away for the night tomorrow night to stay in a hotel in Queenstown But dont know what i could do for him that is special and dosnt cost too much money ? |
Hello
I got proposed to in Queenstown 4 years ago, the week after Valentines (cause it was my birthday). We had a special day on the Shotover, Gondola, and then went to a divine little authentic Japanese restaurant before going to the beach where he got down on one knee and proposed!
So after that ranting, I recommend the authentic Japanese restaurant - but don't ask me the name of it LOL! We had just been to Japan so it was divine to find somewhere run by real Japanese owners and chefs.

Oh - and my Valentines Day will consist of getting some spermies as Ov is about to occur, and probably having a romantic dinner at home with wine and candles. We aren't doing cards or pressies this year as we are in the throws of starting to build our flash dream house in the country! So we are saving saving saving!

I gave DH a packet of Hershey's kisses, and he shared them with me Other than that we have just been having a normal Sunday.
We would have gone to the movies or something if we could get a babysitter, but all our friends in Dunedin must have Valentines Day plans

Been married for two years now. Maybe he thinks he doesn't have to try any more grrr!

We ended up with a power cut for 8 hours (planned one), and did nothing much. Sat out side with the neighbours for 2 hours having drinks so that was fun. DH has to work now and I am at home with the birthday boy.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
