I'm just about to order the fabric I need to make trifold inserts to go with the nappies I made. How many inserts do you think I'll need?
I have 150+ disposable nappies so he should be about 1 month old before he moves into his cloth nappies so I'm guessing about 8 changes per day. So a stock of 20 inserts should do the trick (1/2 in use and 1/2 in the wash - if I do run out I still have dozens of flats which we used for Michaela).
Also what's your preferred fabric for the absorbent layers? I'm leaning towards bamboo fleece but I have no experience with MCNs as Michaela was in old-style flats with and overnap.
Your input is very much appreciated
