Ok so we have gone for the real nappy cover's Bummies they are awesome and work great with my flat cloth.  Those plus the one's my Mum is making) very clever lady) are great for during the day.

Question is I am looking at something that will work for night I was looking at the Bamboo one's (sorry not sure exact brand)  they are lovely and soft, but also $29 a nappy which is ok  however I am abit concerned as to getting them dry being all in one and also it said it can only go in a cool  dryer.  Now due to the cost of them I don't want ot have to buy too many just enough for both boy's for night so I am wanting to know what you all think would be my best option.

If they are only for night and you're happy to wash and dry every day, remember you'll only need 2 (I'd probably get 4 just in case tho)... so then doesn't seem so different in cost.

if they are only for night time....i'd get peapod nappies. that's what we use for jack and charli overnight, usually 12-13hrs with a prefold and hemp insert. you could also use your cloth flats instead of the prefolds. they are $19.95 from babyfactory and dry really quickly
i'm selling my medium peapods on TM tomorrow if you're interested....they are too small for jack now but would probably fit your boys    let me know if you want any....

if your mum is making pockets then they should be ok for nights too with the right stuffing.

bamboo is good tho and depends on what brand too - yoyo sell bamboo pockets that you can stuff with whatever you have (incl your flats) and they dont take too long to dry.

tots bots bamboo nappies are just fitteds (from what i remember) and depending on how much of a wetter your boy is may need boosting.

do you mean the material to make pockets - i know greenbeanssell DIY kits and a lot of mums seems to get stuff from spotlight, you just have to be careful of the type of microfleece you get.

I had a bamboo fitted and sold it cos it took soooo long to dry (2 days). Was trim, but would definitely have needed boosting overnight, and a good cover.

I know quite a few people are raving about Ecobubs Wool Pockets for use overnight - I'd check them out. They are $30 but would have absolutely brilliant resale value as everyone on TNN is after them at present.

Lots of room for stuffing and the layer of wool on the outside is great.

I've got some of the Ecobubs wool pockets, haven't tried them at night (IMO they are waaaay too cute to hide away!) but they are really good during the day and have huge pockets so you could easily stuff heaps more into them.
