jack's TT'd during the day, but still wears a nappy at night. he's gradually getting drier, but DH wants to go cold turkey and take the nappy off and see what happens.....i'm not so sure.
he does seem to learn best when going cold turkey on alot of things, but i'm the one that will have to deal with the wet bed!
so, i was thinking about getting some training pants that he can pull up and down easily should he need to go during the night.....has anyone got any suggestions?

thanks ladies!

I'm a firm believer that the whole dry overnight thing is related to a hormone kicking in.

You'll notice that when he has really strong urine (and not that much of it compared to pre-hormone) in the morning.

Until then I'd leave him in naps (just my opinion!)

Grace wore an XL Fuzzi at night once she had TT in the day, but it was always sopping in the morning. At 3.5yrs we decided to go cold turkey after reading some info that said that for heavy-sleepers it's best to put them to bed with a completely bare bottom as any kind of pants or trousers will have them believe that they're wearing a nappy and in a sleepy state they'll just wet. We decided to give it a go so we bought a mattress protector, put her to bed with a bare bottom, lifted her at 9pm (she'd been asleep since 7pm) and put her on a potty next to her bed, and in the morning she was dry!! We couldn't believe it! The same method has been working ever since, although now that she's 4.5yrs she can wear pj pants to bed without wetting, although she prefers the bare bottom!!

I used the HH trainers for Maya, they were great coz you could stuff heaps into them and she could still get them off but they are bulky.

Make a deal with your DH, that he can go cold turkey if he gets up and changes/washes the sheets
