... dairy free butter, cheese and marge?

DD is dairy intolerant so i cant eat anything dairy but i want to do some baking and im sick of eating the same foods over and over. Ive looked in the supermarket but couldn't see any (might not have looked hard enough) She also cant tolerate tomatos/tomato based, complan and onions (so far).

You can use oil in place of butter in baking.  There is a soy cheese around.

You can get them - not at all supermarkets though - check out these guys to get some brand names and then look in your local area...

Kingland is the brand of soy yoghurts and you can get those at Foodtown.

Olivani is, as Rachel said, there's also a new one out callied Olivite, you can get it at Pak n Save, New World etc but not at Woolworths/Countdown/Foodtown...I prefer it to Olivani, and it's half the price (except we shop at Woolworths so I never get it ). There's another brand of ice cream called Lite Licks which is dairy free - doesn't taste so much of soy as So Good, and comes in Berry, Hokey Pokey, Vanilla and Chocolate Ripple (which is my fave).

Complan is dairy based, which will be why she can't tolerate it (most shake type drinks are dairy based).

Yep Olivani here too!
Try the rice or corn wafers- they have different flavours and are good with salmon or tuna for extra protein snacks!

You get dairy free ice creams and soy yogurt. Olivani comes out beautifully in cakes ect. Or I even have some recipies for you that doesnt use olivani but use oil ect.

Check out some vegan recipies. They are all milk and dairy free and you can get a lot of nice things.
