i was told that if you packed a chilli bin in your car, you can purchase things like pate and feta etc at the supermarket and as long as you did this, took it home and placed it in the fridge and ate it in the first day or two it would be fine?
apparently the drop in temperature from the supermarket fridge to home was when the harmful bacteria started forming??
i agree with kiwikid though, you do hear so many conflicting stories. my own rule is if i want to eat it i eat it hot. I was craving camembert the other night so i made a cranberry and camembert pizza. Yum!
