Alexbabe where are you located? maybe one of us can recommend someone for you. I love acupuncutre it is half an hour or so of complete relaxation. The needles give you a bit of a tingle but shouldn't really hurt. A few times the needles have touched a sore spot but after a couple of seconds its gone and you can relax. Well worth it.

Can I also recommend in this whole natural thread, reiki, I went for my first session the other day and found it incredible, a friend of mine did it and she said that I was like a tightly wound coil.

We all know we need to be relaxed and whilst that is all well and good while ttc its not easy.

I felt so light and floaty all the way through, i'm not sure  I understand the whole thing but its to do with making sure all your elements are in line and mine apparently were not.

The lady who did this for me, did it for another friend who then had twins - so fingers crossed.

I can recommend the acupuncturist I saw. Will PM the details to you - he is based in MT Albert and has a real interest in womens health.

I heart accupuncture. I had it for ms and it worked a treat. I have also had it for insomnia and migraines. Defintely didnt hurt, some needles I didnt feel go in and others just tingled but no pain at all.

We did accupuncture (the cupping procedure) when TTC with our first - it took two months for the positive result & I was elated! TTC again now 5yrs later & have had extensive sessions again plus herbs (aghhhh!!) but unfortunately after 3months of this & having to travel to Hamilton every weekend it's taken it's toll, mentally & financially. Have now resorted to Clomaphene *fingers crossed*

Hi Parki9

I go to the Centre for Chinese Medicine in Grey Lynn (just off Richmond Rd, near Harvest Wholefoods)- either Jenny or Suzanne. Both are great and really lovely, and it's a really nice experience. Ph 360 2426
