Hey Nerefiti- thanks for your kind words, I hope the midwife can put your fears/concerns at ease  I think I'll get a BFP soon too, would be so nice to take this journey together

Just FYI- When I was pg, my HCG level was 31 at just under 4 weeks...but that ended in m/c, although how relevant the two facts are I don't know. YOur levels sound ok to me but I'm no Dr lol.

My thoughts on this are that If and when I get pg next time, I will not be getting my bloods done unless expressly ordered by my Dr. There seems to be too much worry and fear surronding numbers that to me seem to have a HUGE range of 'normal'...I worry enough about stuff anyway without dealing with that too lol. If you're going to m/c, then you're going to m/c regardless of the numbers and after doing that twice this year as well as losing a baby around the 12 week mark, I just figure that all I can do is take care of myself physicaly and mentally and enjoy the pg in the moment (easy to say, much harder to do lol)!

In my inexperienced opinion, it sounds like you are well and truely knocked up so enjoy the ride babe

Well I got my hcg done again today.
I went to see the midwife as arranged but she was delayed with a birth. So I told another m/w why I was there so she said she'd do a test for me. It came up positive! So she said based on that, she wouldn't send anyone for an hcg test, but I said I wanted one. So she gave me the form but said to wait a week! Yeah right! lol. So 15mins later here I am getting blood taken lol
Results came back at 251! So they are rising! Yah. I thought they doubled every 24hrs, but coming back into the thread I see everyone has been saying 48hrs, so I guess my levels are looking ok? I am still finding it hard saying 'im pregnant'. I want to tell my kids as they saw a test in my bag on friday!
So does my levels look ok?
Yah..off to the Jan thread (with tenderhooks though)

Thankyou! Its still soaking in! I have to wait until my eldest finishes work tonight then I can tell them all together. I thought about waiting until I was a few more weeks along, but I dont think they'd appreciate that lol. In fact my 14yr was upset that she found out about my mc I had in december a couple months afterwards as she said she would have wanted to support me! So I have decided to tell them (15, 14, 8)...then they can all bring me something in bed before I get up when ms kicks in lol

Woohoo this is one occasion where I just adore saying I told you so!

Am just absolutely thrilled for you; wicked news!

I'm sure you have a very sticky wee bean and will have a glorious 9 months ahead. Can't wait to join you (although I'll be a little later obviously)!
