congrats!!
when i got preggy with charli, i tested the day AF was due and got a faint BFP......that was only 2wks after we'd started TTC....so yes, you can get a BFP only a couple of weeks into your pregnancy

Do you have regular cycles?
If so when was your last period and when are you expecting the next one to arrive?
Yup you can pick up pregnancy pretty early on some tests

You may have O'd later then?
I think they can more definately from a scan... but don't think they do dating scans till estimated 6-7 wks
Good luck!

You might have also conceived earlier and had a "fake" AF last time? Whatever the case, tell your mw/LMC that you are unsure of your dates and get a dating scan at approx 7 weeks.

My SIL had trouble working out her dates as she missed AF and had definate BFN, then missed a 2nd AF and got a BFP.
I think she had bloods and that helped estimate the dates. She also had 2 scans, at the 2nd she was told she was 6wks so the 1st scan would have been done at 5wks.
Good luck!

BTW I know a couple that had their 2nd due on the exact same day as their first, he came a few days early, so they have one in April and one in May.

Also remember that the first two weeks of your pregnancy are before ovulation which would put your EDD counting from mid August.
I was due on my sister's 2nd birthday as mum could only conceive every 2nd June for some reason (same with #3 that m/c)... anyway I came two days early. We've made it work cos you have to really. Would be easier financially etc if it wasn't the same week but in all honesty it doesn't matter too much.
Congrats on the pregnancy BTW!

They cant really advise how far along you are based on your HCG levels, as the normal range week by week are so large.
Scan is best, you should get a referral with not problems to be done straight away.
Does sound like you might have had some implantation bleeding and thought it was AF if you are absolutley positive (really, really honestly positive) you couldnt have gotten pg in August.
Either way, congrats hun. My neice and nephew share a birth month.... their parents share the same birthday (and year). My other neice feels used to feel left out cos she didnt have anyone to share her birthday with.....
