Around ovulation time?!

I was talking with a friend last night that knows we are TTC and she had had an argument with her man and she said that he wasnt getting any action for a week! And that lucky they werent TTC!

Which made me think - if you were angry with your other half around ovulation time - would you put it aside just so you could get the um er sperm? Or would you just hold out until the next month?!

I thought it was quite an interesting question!

Me personally if I was angry with DH - I wouldnt want to be bd'ing so we would miss ovulation that month and hope he was better the next month!

Lol!
Um yeah I've been peeved with DP round O time and we still BD'd - we did it for the cause lol

I wouldn't do it if I didn't have to take pills to get AF and then take Clomid to O, but for me to do that and not BD round O time would seem like a waste.

Maybe, if he's not getting any action then neither am I. However at the moment I'm avoiding bd'ing at O time. so no probs there.

Funnily I've been thinking about this question too! I have been so damn tense with DF during ov this month that we haven't taken full advantage of this fertile time!! TTC really is so stressful isn't it!?! next month I am determined to try to relax a bit more and not obsess about it as I think that leads to most of our tension and is not conducive to BDing

Hey BooBoo
I think it would depend on how angry I was at him. In the past we've not done it around O time, but at the moment we've got limited cycles left to try naturally so if we didn't I'd feel like we were wasting a month. But if I was really really p*ssed at him I probably wouldn't BD.

I'd leave it for that night and try the next day as it would just be too much to BD when I was angry. Though if the fight was over something little I might try and calm myself down and get over it I guess - but if I was still angry I wouldn't.

I guess the bigger question for me is how much effort I'd put into getting over it. If it was O time I'd probably work a bit harder to work it out than if it wasn't O time.
