We BDed on average twice a week. Worked for us too. We were kind of lucky that ov fell on one of our normal "BDing" days (i.e. a day we got to sleep in).

We are currently trying to BD every day since this is our first month ttc and I don't know when I am going to ovulate.
Before ttc we probably averaged 3 times per week. It does get a bit tiring though, looking forward to my chart telling me I've ovulated so we can have a rest.
Funny cause DH always used to want it more than me but he is finding the every day thing a bit tough

Jane25 I hear ya on that one.
Last month we BDed 7days straight leading up to OV, and then i just couldnt do it anymore after I thought i had OVed. then 4 days later i got EWCM and my temps went up!!!!!!! arrrrgggghhhhh I had done all that BDing and stopped thinking i had OVed and then missed the boat completely!!!!!!
So this month I endeavour to BD from CD7 nonstop until my temps go up and proceed to fall in a heap from shear exhaustion...........And because i know that I will be doing that I cant bear to go anywhere near my DH(until CD&7) who gets really ansy after more than 2 days with no action!!!
He even didnt pay any attention to the nat fertility lady who said to give it a big rest and just have 'CUDDLES" until my fertile window again. (AS IF!!!!!!)
Hes loving this whole baby making thing thats for sure!!!!

LOL. We've been BD'ing nearly everyday. My cycles are all over the place so i don't know when i'll be ovulating.
With our son i think we BD'd most days too & i got pregnant the first month. So i'm hoping to have the same luck this time.

We BD every second day from about CD8 as that's what all the medical professionals and my accupuncturist said was really necessary There is the odd time we'll manage two days in a row but doing it all the time, no way, we don't have enough stamina in this household!!

We used to BD every day for the week around O time - sometimes even twice a day. But we're so over it now we just try to BD every second day, and if the BD day isn't the day I O we might BD the day before, day of and day after O if we feel like. But we don't try and force it any more - if we don't feel like we don't do it.

Hmm well we aren't trying at the moment and BD is if we are lucky once a month. I have no idea how things are going to go when we decide to start trying. As long as we do it around ov i'll be happy.
My worst fear is that sex becomes a task i really don't want that to happen.

We're a bit the same as sweetpea, weekends is the only chance we get to have any time together, and the last few times there wasn't much chance of any conceiving taking place sorry TMI.
If DH ends up in Akl, we'll be lucky to see each other more than once a month.

When we were ttc with Emily we did it every day from CD9 until CD16. First month no luck but next month we hit the jackpot (hence Emily). It was a bit tiresome but then we found spoon position required less effort, was nicer cause you got to snuggle lots - and it worked!

We BD pretty much every day with only ever a day missed in between.
Yet to know if it's worked though. AF is 3 days late, but test was BFN.
