Hi Bex
This has been good reading for me, as I'm about the same as you. AF is late, peeing ltos, super tired, "quickening" (moving feelings) in lower abdomen, etc, etc. But keep getting BFN. Trying to refrain from testing but it's hard not to.
I have a friend who has 5 kids, and throughout 3 of her pregnancies she didn't know she was preg until about 6-7 months as she had AF every month up until then.
I know quite a few people (and you hear stories all the time) about girls who had no idea they were pregnant and next thing they've popped out a baby. So I'm guessing it's possible.
My next step will be a blood test as well as HPT if AF isn't here by the weekend.

Its so frustrating not knowing huh?! I mean some days im so adamant that i am pregnant... and then people tell you your symptoms mean something else... or even worse that you must be imagining them and it makes you all down and upset thinking your crazy for being so sure you were pregnant when all these people are so sure your not. Sorry mini-vent there too... I really hope you and I both get BFPs soon! Im almost gunna be just as happy to get AF or have my symptoms stop because i think that would almost be better than going through this its really hard aye!

I think I understand what you are going through and how frustrating not knowing is!! I never know when AF is so every month I wonder for the next month after Ov if I am or not... IMO I don't think people are trying tell you you are imagining these symptoms but at the same time I guess people don't want to build ya hopes too high either as there are other explanations for lots of pg symptoms eh... Did you have your hcg levels monitored after your mc to ensure they returned to normal level?
I really hope you get an answer soon - and preferably a BFP

I'd be happy to get AF or BFP. If I get AF it just means that I'm only 3 weeks away from possibly getting pregnant. And if I get BFP then of course I am pregnant.
Either one will be exciting but I'm definately not too flash happy about this being half way in between stuff.
I don't know if I;m cooming or going, can I do things or can't I do things, do I need to prepare for a baby or can I just carry on as I am.
It's all very backwards. HPT's need to be redesigned so they can tell you if AF is comin or not.

Hey bex,
Its hard to know really, you could be feeling yuck cos your AF is on its way back or you could be preg, but it depends if you have ovualted.
I would just try and relax and not do any more testing, and see what happens in the next week, if still no AF and neg test then Id see ya doctor for piece of mind.
After my M/c my AF came back bang on 4 weeks, but everyone is different.

Man im soo over this! Ive come to the conclusion that im not pregnant but i now wish AF would just arrive and get back to normal to make it easier for TTC! Im probably gunna goto the doctors this week but then im not sure exactly what they are gunna be able to do for me so am hesitant to go coz its gunna cost be at least $50! Someone on here mentioned going on Provera but im confused from what ive seen on the Ministry of healths websites for Provera its not recommended if you have had a miscarriage, or if you are planning on trying to get pregnant. Anyone got any insight to that?

Bring on the docs appointment I say, such a poo that they cost heaps. I would write down all your questions so you don't forget anything you want to cover. Knowing a lot of doctors they rush you in and rush you out so you end up feeling rushed which is sooo unfair. Sometimes it feels like you have to put your foot down and be very persistant in what you want to see happen, and what you are happy with.
Best of luck Bex, I hope they really sort it out for you and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Just saw this Bex, I take provera to induce AFs which is prescribed by my gynae and there are a few women on here who are prescribed it to bring on AF by specialists. All for TTC purposes

Well i called the healthline and the nurse said its definately normal to not have a period on time after the miscarriage coz your bodies trying to sort itself out and get back on track. She recommended waiting until ive missed two AFs, and then go and see a doctor or it might just be a waste of money. But if i get any abnormal abdominal pain to call them back or go in straightaway. Im pretty happy with that... she also said theres no reason for me to not be TTC while im waiting anyways
Go the Healthline!!! It may just save me $50 yet!!

Hi Bex, glad you have got some medical info that may help.
When I had a m/c at 12wks I was told it would take about 6mths for my body to get back on track. I stopped trying for a baby & did not keep track of anything, so was very surprised when I got a BFP 3 mths later.
I remember being given a contact number for m/c support. Maybe look into something like that as they would be able to tell you what maybe happening to your body and what to expect. Waiting is really tough but it will happen for you.

Hi Bex, Glad to hear you have some kind of answer and hopefully some kind of sanity to help you get through. Try not to worry about it all too much. People keep saying this to me and I want to hit them everytime they do but it's true. It'll happen when it happens.

Now ill just concentrate on Charting and hopefully next month will be my month. Bex I'm glad to hear AF has arrived. I know it wasn't the answer you wanted but it sure beats being halfway aye
Good luck with your charting. I'm considering starting that if I don't get BFP this time around.
